You'll make an impact as you:

• Coordinate and exhibit collegiality with other clinicians, psychologists, primary care providers, and other service providers within Walmart Health to support a holistic and integrated approach to care and be the behavioral health subject matter expert for the medical and dental providers in your center.
• Provide behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, & treatment using current research, evidence-based techniques/interventions, & therapies (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing).
• Collaborate with patients ages 6 to develop a treatment plan with measurable goals/objectives that are supported by assessment, diagnosis, and the concerns of the patient. Routine conditions include anxiety and depression. 
• Utilize individual, couples, and family therapy treatment interventions that align with the needs of the patient’s concerns and extent of emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, and behavioral need(s). 
• Routinely monitor/track patient progress through ongoing assessment, applicable screening tools, and patient feedback. With patient collaboration, apply ability to change approach, method, and degree of therapy and revise treatment plan as applicable.
• Document all behavioral health encounters (e.g., assessment, session notes, treatment plans) in the patient’s health record utilizing approved behavioral health templates/forms.
• Collaborate with local behavioral health agencies, clinics, and/or the local chapter of the national association associated with your license to establish new patient referrals (as needed during the 1st 90 days of employment).
• Complete documentation in compliance with agency policies and procedures, applying all applicable ethical, legal, and clinical standards.
• Adhere to your professional Code of Ethics and Standards of Care.
• Participate in quality programs such as chart reviews and provide feedback to the Peer Review Chart Committee.

You'll sweep us off our feet if you have experience...

• In outpatient, in clinic, and/or virtual care settings
• With specialized certifications & trainings
• As a bilingual provider
• Treating specialized populations (e.g., minority, underserved populations)
• Treating patients ages 6
• Using Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in clinical social work, mental health counseling and/or marriage and family therapy from an accredited program
• Current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice independently in mental health, depending on state requirements, either as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• At least 1 year of experience as an independently licensed therapist
